Watch: How to Request a Feature on Bila | Shape Our Product Roadmap

How to Request a Feature

1

Open the feature request form

In the left sidebar, click Request a feature. A panel will slide in from the right side of your screen with the request form.
2

Give your feature a title

In the Feature title field, write a short, clear name for the idea.
e.g. Export payouts as CSV
3

Describe the feature

In the Description field, explain what you’d like Bila to build or improve. Be specific about the outcome you want. This field supports up to 15,000 characters.
4

Explain your use case

In the Use case field, describe your workflow today and how this feature would help. This field also supports up to 15,000 characters.
5

Submit your idea

Click Submit idea. You will see a Feature request submitted confirmation toast at the top of the screen confirming your idea was received successfully.

Tips for a Good Feature Request

A clear, detailed request helps the product team understand your needs and prioritize effectively. Where possible, include:
  • The specific outcome you’re trying to achieve, not just the feature name
  • Your current workflow and where it falls short today
  • How often you’d use the feature, or how much time/effort it would save
  • Any workarounds you’re currently using
The form reminds you: “Share a product idea for the roadmap. For account issues, use Help and Support.”

After You Submit

Once submitted, your idea is added to the Bila product team’s backlog for review. Feature requests are considered alongside other roadmap priorities, so there’s no guaranteed timeline for a response or implementation.
Request a feature is for product ideas only. If you’re experiencing a bug, an account issue, or need help with an urgent payment, use Report a Bug or Help and Support instead.
