How to Report a Bug

1

Open the bug report form

In the left sidebar, click Report a bug. A panel will slide in from the right side of your screen with the report form.
2

Choose an area

Under Where did you see the problem?, select the area of the dashboard where the issue occurred from the dropdown — for example, Payments, Recipients, or Settings.
3

Describe the issue in one sentence

In the In one sentence, what’s wrong? field, write a short, clear summary of the problem.
e.g. A payout stays pending after approval
4

Explain what happened

In the What were you doing, and what happened? field, describe the full issue:
  • What you clicked or were trying to do
  • What you expected to happen
  • What actually happened instead
This field supports up to 15,000 characters.
5

Add any extra context (optional)

Use the Anything else? field to include optional supporting details such as:
  • Timestamps of when the issue occurred
  • Affected customer phone numbers or names
  • Related Transaction IDs
  • Any other notes that might help the team reproduce the issue
This field supports up to 5,000 characters.
6

Submit your report

Click Submit bug. You will see a Bug reported confirmation toast at the top of the screen confirming your report was received successfully.

Tips for a Good Bug Report

A detailed report helps the team identify and fix the issue faster. Where possible, include:
  • The exact Transaction ID or customer number affected
  • The date and time the issue occurred
  • What status or approval state the transaction was in (e.g. Approved, Failed, Awaiting Funds)
  • A screenshot if it helps explain what you saw — the form prompts you to include one if relevant
The form reminds you: “Tell us what went wrong. Include screenshots if they help explain the issue.”

After You Submit

Once submitted, the Bila team will review your report. You do not need to take any further action unless the team reaches out for more information.
Submitting a bug report does not automatically reverse a failed transaction or change its status. If you have an urgent payment issue, contact support directly via Help and Support.
