Dashboard Overview
The Bila Console dashboard provides a comprehensive view of your payment activities, balances, and key metrics. This guide will help you understand the different components of the dashboard and how to use them effectively.
Accessing the Dashboard
The dashboard is the default landing page when you log into the Bila Console. You can also access it at any time by clicking on Dashboard in the main navigation menu on the left side of the screen.

Dashboard Components
1. Environment Indicator
At the top of the dashboard, you’ll see an environment indicator showing whether you’re in the Sandbox (test) or Production (live) environment.

Always be aware of which environment you’re working in. The Sandbox environment is for testing, while the Production environment processes real transactions with actual funds.
2. Key Metrics
The top section of the dashboard displays key performance metrics that provide a quick overview of your account:

These metrics include:
- Total Balance: The combined balance of all your wallets in your default currency
- Total Transactions: The number of transactions processed in the selected time period
- Transaction Volume: The total monetary value of transactions processed
- Success Rate: The percentage of successful transactions out of all attempts
Hover over any metric to see a tooltip with additional information or click on it to view detailed data.
3. Transaction Overview
The transaction overview section displays your recent transaction activity with a visual graph:

This section includes:
- Transaction Volume Graph: Visual representation of transaction volume over time
- Transaction Count Graph: Visual representation of transaction count over time
- Toggle Options: Switch between viewing volume, count, or both metrics
- Time Period Selector: Choose the time range for the displayed data
4. Recent Transactions
Below the graphs, you’ll find a list of your most recent transactions:

For each transaction, you can see:
- Transaction ID: Unique identifier for the transaction
- Date & Time: When the transaction occurred
- Customer: Customer name or email
- Amount: Transaction amount and currency
- Status: Current status (successful, pending, failed)
- Type: Transaction type (payment, refund, withdrawal, etc.)
Click on any transaction row to view its complete details, including payment method, fees, and transaction timeline.
5. Wallet Balances
The wallet balances section shows the current balance of each of your digital wallets:

For each wallet, you can see:
- Currency: The wallet’s currency (USD, EUR, GBP, etc.)
- Current Balance: Available funds in the wallet
- Reserved Funds: Funds that are currently held for pending transactions
- Quick Actions: Buttons for common actions (top up, withdraw, transfer)
6. Payment Method Distribution
This section shows the distribution of payment methods used by your customers:

The chart displays:
- Payment Method Breakdown: Percentage of transactions by payment method
- Legend: Color-coded list of payment methods
- Total Count: Number of transactions for each payment method
Customizing Your Dashboard
You can customize your dashboard to focus on the metrics that matter most to you:
Access Dashboard Settings
Click the gear icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard.

Select Widgets
Check or uncheck widgets to show or hide them on your dashboard.
Arrange Widgets
Drag and drop widgets to rearrange them in your preferred order.
Set Default Time Period
Select your preferred default time period for dashboard metrics.
Save Changes
Click “Save Changes” to apply your customizations.
Date Range Selection
You can view data for different time periods by using the date range selector in the top-right corner of the dashboard:

Available options include:
- Today: Data from the current day
- Yesterday: Data from the previous day
- Last 7 days: Data from the past week
- Last 30 days: Data from the past month
- This month: Data from the current calendar month
- Last month: Data from the previous calendar month
- Custom range: Select a specific date range
When you select a date range, all dashboard metrics and graphs will update to reflect data from that period.
Exporting Dashboard Data
You can export dashboard data for reporting and analysis:
Click Export
Click the “Export” button in the top-right corner of any dashboard section.
Select Format
Choose your preferred export format (CSV, Excel, PDF).
Select Data Range
Confirm the date range for the exported data.
Download
Click “Download” to receive your exported data file.
Dashboard Notifications
Important notifications appear in the dashboard to alert you about:
- System Updates: Planned maintenance or new features
- Account Alerts: Security notifications or verification requirements
- Transaction Issues: Failed transactions or disputes that need attention
- Balance Alerts: Low balance warnings or settlement notifications
