Digital Wallet Overview
The Bila Digital Wallet is a secure, versatile tool for managing your funds across multiple currencies with instant settlement capabilities. This guide explains how to use your digital wallet effectively within the Bila Console.
Accessing Your Wallet
To access your digital wallet:
- Log in to the Bila Console
- Click on Wallet in the main navigation menu on the left side

The wallet dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of your wallet status:

- Balance Summary: Total balance across all currencies
- Currency Selector: Switch between different currency wallets
- Quick Action Buttons: Top up, withdraw, transfer, and exchange
- Recent Transactions: List of your most recent wallet transactions
- Balance History Graph: Visual representation of your balance over time

Bila supports multiple currency wallets, allowing you to hold and manage funds in different currencies:

Each currency wallet maintains a separate balance. You can easily switch between currencies using the currency selector in the wallet dashboard.

Top Up Wallet
Add funds to your wallet using various payment methods:

Click the “Top Up” button on the wallet dashboard.

Choose which currency wallet you want to top up.

Enter the amount you want to add to your wallet.
Select Payment Method
Choose your preferred payment method:
- Card Payment
- Bank Transfer
- Mobile Money
- Cryptocurrency

Complete Payment
Follow the instructions to complete the payment process.

Processing times vary by payment method:
- Card payments: Instant
- Mobile money: Usually within minutes
- Bank transfers: 1-3 business days
- Cryptocurrency: Varies by network confirmation time
Withdraw Funds
Transfer funds from your wallet to your bank account, mobile money account, or cryptocurrency wallet:
Click Withdraw
Click the “Withdraw” button on the wallet dashboard.

Select Currency
Choose which currency wallet you want to withdraw from.
Enter Amount
Enter the amount you want to withdraw.

Select Destination
Choose where you want to send the funds:
- Bank Account
- Mobile Money Account
- Cryptocurrency Wallet
Enter Destination Details
Provide the necessary details for your selected destination:
- For Bank: Account number, bank name, routing number
- For Mobile Money: Phone number, provider
- For Crypto: Wallet address, network
Confirm Withdrawal
Review the withdrawal details, including any applicable fees, and confirm.

- Withdrawals may be subject to processing fees, which will be displayed before confirmation
- Minimum withdrawal amounts apply (varies by currency and destination)
- First-time withdrawals to a new destination may require additional verification
Transfer Funds
Transfer funds between your own wallets or to other Bila users:

Click the “Transfer” button on the wallet dashboard.

Choose between:
- Internal Transfer (between your own wallets)
- External Transfer (to another Bila user)

Choose the source currency wallet.
Enter Details
- For Internal Transfer: Select destination currency
- For External Transfer: Enter recipient’s email or wallet ID

Enter the transfer amount.
Add Note
Optionally add a note or reference for the transfer.

Review and confirm the transfer details.

Internal transfers between your own wallets are instant and free. If transferring between different currencies, the current exchange rate will be applied and displayed before confirmation.
Currency Exchange
Convert funds between different currencies within your wallet:

Click the “Exchange” button on the wallet dashboard.

Choose the currency you want to exchange from.
Select Target Currency
Choose the currency you want to exchange to.
Enter Amount
Enter the amount you want to exchange.

Review the current exchange rate and the amount you’ll receive.

Confirm the currency exchange.
Exchange rates are updated in real-time and include a small spread. The exact rate will be locked in at the time of confirmation.

View a complete history of your wallet transactions:

The transaction history displays various types of transactions:
- Top Up: Funds added to your wallet
- Withdrawal: Funds withdrawn from your wallet
- Transfer In: Funds received from another wallet
- Transfer Out: Funds sent to another wallet
- Exchange: Currency conversion within your wallet
- Payment: Funds used for a payment
- Refund: Funds returned from a payment
- Fee: Service fees charged
Filtering Transactions
You can filter transactions by:

- Date Range: Select a specific time period
- Transaction Type: Filter by specific transaction types
- Currency: View transactions for a specific currency
- Amount Range: Filter by transaction amount
- Status: Show only successful, pending, or failed transactions

Click on any transaction to view its complete details:

- Date and Time: When the transaction occurred

- Status: Current status of the transaction
- Source/Destination: Where funds came from or went to

- Fee: Any fees associated with the transaction

Bila implements several security measures to protect your wallet:
