Payments Overview
The Payments section of the Bila Console allows you to manage all your payment operations, including creating payment links, tracking transactions, and managing recurring payments.
Accessing Payments
To access the Payments section:
- Log in to the Bila Console
- Click on Payments in the main navigation menu on the left side

Payment Dashboard
The Payments dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of your payment activities:

Key elements of the dashboard include:
- Payment Summary: Total volume, count, and success rate
- Recent Transactions: List of your most recent payment transactions
- Payment Method Distribution: Breakdown of payment methods used
- Quick Action Buttons: Create payment, payment link, or request
Creating Payments
One-Time Payments
To create a one-time payment:
Click Create Payment
Click the “Create Payment” button in the top-right corner of the Payments dashboard.

Enter Payment Details
Fill in the payment details form:
- Amount and currency
- Customer information (name, email)
- Payment description
- Optional metadata

Select Payment Method
Choose the payment method to be used:
- Card payment
- Mobile money
- Bank transfer
- Cryptocurrency
Review and Confirm
Review the payment details and click “Create Payment” to generate the payment.
Share Payment Link
Share the generated payment link with your customer via email, SMS, or other channels.
Payment Links
Payment links allow you to create shareable links that customers can use to make payments:
Click Create Payment Link
Click the “Payment Links” tab and then “Create Payment Link” button.

Configure Link Settings
Set up your payment link:
- Fixed or variable amount
- Link name and description
- Expiration date (optional)
- Allowed payment methods
- Success and failure redirect URLs

Customize Appearance
Customize the payment page appearance:
- Add your logo
- Set brand colors
- Add custom message
Generate Link
Click “Create Link” to generate your payment link.
Share Link
Copy and share the link with your customers through your preferred channels.

Recurring Payments
Set up recurring payments for subscriptions and regular billing:
Access Recurring Payments
Click on the “Recurring” tab in the Payments section.

Create Subscription Plan
Click “Create Plan” and configure your subscription plan:
- Plan name and description
- Billing amount and currency
- Billing frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly)
- Trial period (optional)

Add Customers
Add customers to your subscription plan:
- Manually add customer details
- Import customers from CSV
- Create a signup link for self-enrollment
Activate Subscription
Review details and activate the subscription.

Bila supports a wide range of payment methods to accommodate global customers:

Available payment methods may vary based on your region and account type. Some payment methods may require additional verification or setup.
Managing Transactions
Viewing Transactions
To view and manage your transactions:
Access Transactions
Click on the “Transactions” tab in the Payments section.

Filter Transactions
Use the filters to narrow down transactions:
- Date range
- Status (successful, pending, failed)
- Payment method
- Amount range

Click on any transaction to view its complete details:
- Customer information
- Payment method details
- Transaction timeline
- Metadata and notes

For each transaction, you can perform several actions:
- Refund: Process full or partial refunds
- Capture: Capture authorized payments
- Void: Cancel authorized but uncaptured payments
- Resend Receipt: Send payment receipt to the customer
- Add Note: Add internal notes to the transaction

The Payments section provides detailed analytics to help you understand your payment performance:

- Conversion Rate: Percentage of successful payments
- Average Transaction Value: Average payment amount
- Payment Method Distribution: Breakdown by payment method
- Geographic Distribution: Payments by customer location
- Time Analysis: Payment patterns by time of day/week
You can export payment analytics data in CSV, Excel, or PDF format for further analysis or reporting.
